As you may have surmised from my name, yes, I'm from the deep south. With the exception of one teen-aged year I've lived here all my life. To put it in the form of an acronym I've seen many times I'm what is sometimes called GRITS. Now, grits are a well known and important food item made from ground corn here in the south and they are almost a staple for many families as a breakfast item. At the present, there are no pictures of me on the site. Oh, I have some, but until I see how things progress I'll hold off about posting any pictures until a possible later date. Also included are some of the new items as they are added from time to time.
