The Secret Wardrobe
This is my personal support group, launched on June 11, 2003. It is specifically designed for heterosexual crossdressers, their wives, girlfriends, family members, and anyone else who has a need to learn more about heterosexual crossdressing. It's a CLEAN support group created to encourage the exchange of information, ideas,  and concerns of those who are themselves crossdressers or those who find themselves in a relationship with crossdressers. Membership (free) is required and prospective members will receive a short questionnaire via email which must be completed and returned before membership is granted. This is necessary to screen out potentially undesirable members so if you decide to join our ever-growing group, be aware that the completion and return of the questionnaire you will receive in mandatory.

Brina Bryant
NOTE: Brina's site has apparently been removed and was replaced by someone else using the same URL. Due to the fact that the contents of the site changed and it is no longer in conformance with the ideals of decency and respect of THIS site, previous links have been removed.

Here's a little lady that's got it all together. Not only in the looks department, (she's a DOLL!!) but in the information category also. There's a ton of  help available and be ready to spend some time there drinking it all in when you pay her a visit. I feel honored to be linked to from her site and for the gracious compliments she's paid me there. Of particular interest to the wives and girlfriends of crossdressers is her page that is devoted specifically to just that. It's a appropriately named "Page for Wives, Girlfriends, and Families" and it's well worth your while to read it - especially if you fall into one of these categories and even more so if you've just discovered that your husband or boyfriend is a crossdresser. She also has a page called "Disclosure" on which she provides highly detailed documentation concerning how she told those near and dear to her that she was a crossdresser. This also is well worth the time it takes you to read it.

Sassi-Anne Johnson
Note: Sassi's site is down at the current time but she has informed me that it will be back up in the near future at a different URL. As soon as it's back up I'll reinstall the link to the new address.
If you want to talk to a really gracious lady and one who can give you some good advice you owe it to yourself to pay a visit to her well organized and fact filled web site. Sassi and I became good friends a while back and we often compare notes on a variety of subjects from aviation to time domain generators (whatever that is!). I consider her to be one of my best friends and I'm sure she would love to hear from you.  Before you leave her site, sign her guest book to tell her how much you appreciated it. There's a lot of time and effort in the creation and maintenance of a site like hers and your entry in her guest book is about the only visible reward she gets from it.

Shirley Anne Sometimes
NOTE: Shirley's site is no longer on the net. Since Yahoo has announced that it will be closing ALL of the geocities sites sometime during the summer of 2009, I suspect Shirley took her site down early. Hopefully it will reappear at another location in the future.
If there is a single, more informative web site anywhere on the subject of crossdressing I have yet to find it. Shirley was the very first CD I made contact with on the web and I so nervous about it I could have threaded a sewing machine while it was running at full speed! She was quick to calm my rattled nerves and we have corresponded often since that first email. When you access her site be prepared to spend quite a while reading through her material. THIS SITE IS EXCELLENT FOR BOTH THE CD AS WELL AS THE SPOUSE. Shirley looks at the issue from both viewpoints and in a free and relaxed style will have both of you looking at these issues with a fresh point of view. In short, this is one of those "Must See" sites. Before you leave her space on the web, leave her an email to tell her how much you enjoyed it (I'm sure that you will). That's the only reward she gets for all the work that goes into maintaining her site. Be sure to read her latest offering "He Knows" before you leave. It'll make you think differently.

Anna Renee Phillips
NOTE: Rennee's site is no longer on the net due to the closing of her site host - geocities. Hopefully it will reappear at another location in the future.
Here's a sweet lady that lives near (is 90 miles near) me. She holds the distinction of being the first CD that I actually talked with on the phone. Now, I was nervous enough when I got my first email back, but a live conversation is something else entirely. Nervousness quickly gave way to calmness after I found out, to put it in Renee's own words, "See, we don't bite!". She's got some really cute pictures on her site and in most of them she is what I often heard my grandmother call "The picture of innocence." Be sure and leave her a note and tell her Dixie told you to stop by.

Debbi Richards
NOTE: Debbi's site is no longer on the net due to the closing of her site host - geocities. Hopefully it will reappear at another location in the future.
A classy lady, a friend you can talk to, morals that mirror my own about crossdressing and life in general, a website just packed full of information, pictures, and interesting articles about herself as well as her wife and others. Debbi Richards is the model of what a crossdresser SHOULD be. When you visit her site tell her Dixie sent you and be sure and sign her guest book and let her know you came by. You will also find the story of Debbi’s coming out to her wife on the Story page of my web site.

Amy Sue Harris
NOTE: Amy Sue's site has disappeared  from the net with no information as to where it may have been moved or rebuilt.

Amy Sue is one girl who, in her own words, tries to keep everything light and not to take things too seriously. One visit to her web site and you will be convinced of that. A look at her pictures reflect her attitude and her contagious smile says she's just enjoying being herself. She's a 40 something heterosexual male CD and she says that her site doesn't contain a lot of 'soul searching' and 'self-examination', nor does it contain a vast storehouse of knowledge concerning crossdressing or transsexualism. As Amy Sue puts it when talking about her site, "It's my hope that somebody stumbling over my site in the dimly lit, rarely-traveled back-alleys of the Web might stop for awhile and take in a little of my perspective - cross-dressing should be FUN!

Wednesday's Child (Rannae)
NOTE: Rannae's site is no longer on the net due to the closing of her site host - geocities. Hopefully it will reappear at another location in the future.
Rannae is the original founder and the moderator for Yahoo Club  Central Alabama USATG. She believes in running a clean club that is free from objectionable material and is a place where everyone can help each other. Rannae welcomes your email.  If you join this unique club, please tell Rannae that you found it through Dixie Darling's web site.

Sheryl Anne
NOTE: In October of 2008, AOL closed all of its 'AOL Hometown' sites. Sheryl Anne's was, unfortunately, one of those.
Now here's a perfect example of how you never know who might be a CD. I met Sheryl for lunch for the first time on July 16, 2001. When I pulled into the parking lot at the restaurant, there "she" was sitting perched on the seat of a big ole Harley-Davidson. The more we talked, the more we found we had in common (isn't that the way it usually is with another sister?). Before we left each other that day, we'd talked about everything from acrylic nails to electronics. Check out her web site - it's small right now, but watch for a more expanded and improved version in the near future.

A Crossdresser's Secret Garden
Need to find a good CLEAN club where you can talk to other crossdressers AND THEIR SUPPORTIVE SIGNIFICANT OTHERS? Then you need look no further. "A Crossdresser's Secret Garden" was founded by just such a couple. What you WON'T find there is questionable topics or sexually oriented material. Nor will you find any 'border line' pictures. Frequently scheduled chat times will enlighten you and the 'girls' are always ready to lend a helping hand and answer any questions you might have. What you WILL find here is the "cream of the crop" of the LADIES on the net.

Tess (ladyTK99)
NOTE: Tess's site has been compromised and is no longer in conformance with the ideals of this site or those of The Secret Wardrobe. As a result former links to the site have been removed.
If I've ever seen a picture of a CD who personifies femininity, it would have to be Tess. Click here for a preview and I think you'll agree with me whole heartedly. Her wife is totally supportive of her and the two of them have joined hands as they travel down this sometimes rocky road we know as crossdressing. Tess is every bit the LADY she appears to be and she would love to have you visit her web site.

Alabama Significant Other Support Club
In February of 2001, a local radio talk show ran a live one hour call-in program with crossdressing as the topic. A very reputable sexuality/marriage therapist was available to answer questions from the callers. One of these callers was a most sincere and genuine lady who was dating a local crossdresser. Fascinated that this type of person really did exist, I posted a small remark on one of the clubs I belong to indicating how wonderful it was to know that such open-minded females did indeed exist. Without going into details, I was later contacted by this individual requesting a copy of the tape I had made of the show that day. We have since become good friends and in late July 2001, she founded a new club dedicated to the support of significant others. Although it is primarily for the wives and girlfriends of crossdressers, CDs themselves are invited to join. I can't think of anyone more sympathetic to the needs of crossdressers and their wives/girlfriends or more qualified to moderate a club that this fine lady. Let her know you found her club from Dixie's Web Page.

Why Be A TV
While checking one of the forums I often access I ran across a link to this page and was delighted to find that the site's owner shared a lot of the same views I do in regards to crossdressing. I've included the link here to provide you, the readers, with a quick way to reach the site.

Becky Anderson
In a chat room one night Becky and I went of into a 'side room' and when we began discussing our wives outlooks concerning crossdressing , and our own similarities about the way we view the subject, it became eerily apparent that we must have been poured into the same mould. Not only that, but we could almost say that the same thing was true of our wives. Becky has created a website that reflects a lot of these opinions. She is a most charming person internally as well as externally. You owe it to yourself to make a visit to her site.
